The 14th annual Gala Concert, presented by the Delaware Commission on Italian Heritage and Culture and produced by the Italian Festival, will feature a wide selection of celebrated artists, talented musicians, and stirring works. The concert will start at 3:00PM on Sunday, June 12th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church. The 2016 Gala will feature a number of accomplished musicians from Delaware and the region. Simeone Tartaglione return as Artistic Director and Conductor, and will also serve as Artistic Director & Conductor. Educated at the most prestigious musical institutes in Italy, Simeone serves as Music Director of the Newark Symphony Orchestra and the Delaware Youth Symphony Orchestra (DYSO), and as the Conductor of The Catholic University of America’s University Symphony Orchestra. He is also the Orchestral Department head at The Music School of Delaware.
